CJW was listed in Conde Nast Traveler, 2004 hot list amongst 30 new bar scenes from Boston to Beijing. This is one of the best vantages for taking in Shanghai's dazzling, rapidly changing cityscape in CJW, on the highest floor of the crown- topped, 50 floor of Bund Center. Its 360- degree panorama is worth a view.

The interiors are done up in traditional Chinese styles, with lava lamps, crystals and curtains. Live music in the form of a Jazz band plays as patrons enjoy their meals. The restaurant seats 90 including 2 private dining rooms for 16 and 10. It offers cuisine of Modern Continental. Seasons' menu which is a tempting mix of fresh ingredients and delicious flavors. The lounge seats 200 including 5 private rooms for 10 each. The house jazz band plays nightly until 1a.m., catering to CJW's upscale clientele, who may choose from a variety of vintage wines and spirits as well as Cuban cigars displayed in a large glass humidor.

Try out the set meals or get some delicious local and western fusion cuisine. The signature dishes are particularly worth enjoying: the focus is on seafood, with lobster, monk fish and red snapper getting the most attention.
