The four- star Hotel Equatorial Shanghai, located just north of Hilton, was opened in June 1991and comprises of three sections. A 9- storey block of retail area on the first level which is complemented by 8,000 square meters of office space on levels two to eight. The main tower is the 27- storey hotel with 518 luxuriously furnished guest rooms and suites.

Hotel Equatorial Shanghai is located in the central business district of Puxi, only minutes from major commercial and historical districts, tourist attractions and the Jingan Temple Metro Station.
