Stocks Mixed As China Outlook Uncertain

SINGAPORE -- An uncertain outlook for China shares somewhat overshadowed gains in U.S. stocks overnight to foster mixed indexes in Asia Wednesday. In Japan, Sanyo Electric shot higher on a report that Toyota Motor would buy its batteries for hybrid vehicles .
