O'Malley's Irish Pub

O'Malley's is purely an Irish Pub. Here you shall find Irish band with Irish bartenders and managers. The Pub is very discreetly located between Heng Shan Road and Wu Lu Mu Qi Road.

The place is well- known not only for serving pints of Guinness or Kilkenny but also for their innovative menu with dishes that are a considerable notch above the average pub. Expatriates flock here for football games on the big screen television and live music is played from 8.30pm everyday, except Sunday. In warmer months, customers can be found on the bar's famous patio. Located in the heart of the beautiful old French Concession area in Shanghai, this double- storey pub is the first traditional Irish pub in Asia and even today still sells the most Guinness in China. The pub caters to all tastes and requirements. So, whether it be live music, live sports, a beer garden, darts, a game of pool or a traditional fireplace you ' re looking for, you will find it in O'Malley's.

The pub was originally built as a family dwelling at the end of the 1800's by a wealthy Shanghainese family and remained as such until liberation in 1949 when the property was handed over to the local Education Department.
