This eating joint threw open its doors on September 15, 1998. Shanghai Typhoon Shelter Food Ltd. in Shanghai franchised Hong Kong- style serves delicious Chinese snacks: dim sum.

This extremely popular franchise is well- known for its dim sum and traditional Cantonese dishes. It stands out from others with its "fishing village" decor. Outside, bamboo huts draped with fishing nets provide dim sum alfresco. The shrimp and pork dumplings (xiu mai), are good attractions. Even the chicken feet are well worth a try.
