Din Thai Fung is located on the intersection of Xinyi Road, section 2 and Yungkang Street in Taipei City. It has become a symbol of Chinese delicacies with its "steamed dumplings."

Literally translated, their name means simply "little steamer bun." These dumplings are technical and gustatory marvels. Just bite into one - after first draping it with a few wisps of ginger drenched in fruity black vinegar and what makes them so special flows, if not squirts, into your mouth. The meaty filling enhances the taste all the more.

DinTaiFung is successful and very popular in Shanghai. The success of DinTaiFung does not end here and the legend is still continuing. This eatery is actually a branch of a Taiwanese dumpling house and sets to rest any doubts about the ability of Taiwanese to prepare Xiaolongbao. The sweet aroma of the Xiaolongbaos has spread internationally and crossed the Atlantic in 1993, when an outlet opened in New York. Drop by to feast on juicy dumplings. If you're alone, you can pass the time watching chefs at work in the open kitchen.

The interiors of the restaurant are so good that tourists click beautiful pictures and carry fond memories back home. The fame of the restaurant attracts so many visitors that they literally have to wait in long queues for getting good seats.
