Shanghai double fencing club was established in July 2003. Shanghai is the premier landmark of leisure entertainment and professional training for the integration of fencing clubs. It is also known for publicizing, popularizing and disseminating the fencing professional sports cum cultural institutions.

The sport of fencing is fast and athletic, is a noble and ancient sport. It is referred to as “physical chess.” It is an aggressive, intensely psychological game that requires a high level of fitness – as well as provides a lot of fun. Professional coaches and club's unique fencing cultural atmosphere attracted many swordplay lovers. The Club has set up a series of different levels of the Member sets for the integration of recreational and professional courses. Whether you are professional or amateur athlete trainee, you will find your friend here.

In March 7, 2004, the Chairman of the International sword Ren February and his party came to visit the club with the club staff and members of the enthusiastic exchange.
