DSD Shipping, a subsidiary of Det Stavangerske Dampskipsselskap ASA was established in 1989. From its base in Stavanger, Norway, it offers all areas of modern Ship Management.

Recently, it has been established in 2000, in the heart of Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone, the Norway- based DSD Shipping Shanghai Office provides ship owners and managers with varied service. DSD Shanghai Office has crewing function in which there are experienced personnel handling crew selection, training, and certification formality for Chinese crew.

DSD Shipping Shanghai Office is selling to the world special containers and ISO containers made in China. Their flexibility provides small order clients with great convenience in arranging their business activities. The Design Department has a talented team consisting of experienced and professional engineers, all of them have received higher education, and most of them have dedicated to design for many years.

Having a team of qualified and experienced professionals, the Shanghai Office is dedicated to achieving its corporate vision to exceed the customers' expectations. With its vast resource of cheap labor and abundance of raw materials, China has taken the lead in manufacturing new containers.
